ABSR Community Foundation
The ABSR Community Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of the community of Beverly Shores, Indiana by making strategic investments in ideas, organizations, and the community.  We have a close working relationship with ABSR in pursuit of our common goals, striving jointly to develop and strengthen relationships with government leaders and civic-minded individuals and organizations in and around Beverly Shores.
By establishing a general fund to receive tax-deductible contributions, the ABSR Community Foundation positions itself to provide funding of projects meeting specific criteria to community partners (click here for criteria).  Click (here) for the ABSR Community Foundation Grant Application.   At the onset, we will pursue our mission solely through this granting program.  In the future, we hope to develop into a more comprehensive community resource, instituting programs, for example, to assist in identifying and procuring funding from sources external to the community.

The ABSR Community Foundation is very pleased to announce the launch of the FUND FOR OUR FUTURE. This fund will be used to underwrite initiatives that will, in accordance with our mission statement, promote the well-being of the community of Beverly Shores by making strategic investments in ideas, organizations and the community.

The ABSR Community Foundation was founded in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) organization that, at its core, is dedicated to community-building activities. It is set up to award grants to initiatives that contrib- ute positively to the sense of community among residents in Beverly Shores. The rst initiative for which the FUND FOR OUR FUTURE will be used is the three-phase Town Center Project.

Phase 1 of the project will Refurbish the Town Administration Building: The Town Administration Building, the gateway to our community, is in need of a cosmetic and functional overhaul in order to serve residents more effectively and ef ciently. The plan to refurbish includes plaster repair, painting, electrical updating, new ooring, upgraded of ce equipment, and new furnishings.

Phase 2 of the project will Rebuild the Community Library: The much-used library in the breeze- way of the Community House is in a state of disrepair. In order for the library to better serve residents, the plan is to demolish the dilapidated and unsafe garage, rebuild the library within the existing footprint, and protect the library’s collection from moisture and mildew.

Phase 3 of the project will Provide Secure Storage: The Clerk/Treasurer and the Police and Street Departments require a secure storage facility that will protect sensitive documents and house equipment used for public safety. Community groups need storage for materials used for events and programs that serve the residents of Beverly Shores.

The ABSR Community Foundation is hard at work developing plans for promoting and raising the necessary funding for the Town Center Project. Please watch these pages for more information about the FUND FOR OUR FUTURE

(a credit card can be used for donations $1,000 or less)
